Skills
Well about my skills they are many one of them is user experience it means how to make it pleasure for a visitor to visit a web site or use a web app, many factors get under this title
- Usability ( don't let me think )
- Speed ( don't let me wait )
- Accessibility ( I'm an old man with old eyes can I use your site )
- Findability ( Where is this thing I'm looking for )
to name a few and all those factors are acheived by complying the web standards, complying web standards doesn't just mean the markup or the CSS have to be valid, no it go a lot more beyond this markup should be semantic and meaningful and better contain microformats when needed. CSS should give perfect results while it is as compact as possible a CSS code can be written to give a specific presentable style but this exact style could also be achieved by a more compact CSS code. I also master browsers hacks to give nearly the same result on all browsers.
Another title I could fit in is technologist, I know a lot about all those new technologies out there.
Web 2.0
Actually as Andy Budd stated Web 2.0 isn't a thing, it's a state of mind a new way of thinking of the web more as a platform in other more clear way it's the transition of web sites to web apps example of that is Basecamp or Backpack , Netvibes.com, meebo.com, Writely.com a lot of dozens of apps that pop ups only this year and a lot of them are bought by Google & Yahoo.
I'm not a developer but I can use developers and maybe one of the API's available and come up with a perfect web 2.0 app that doesn't have to be very complex but have to be very needed, a lot of people develops very simple apps and get rich in less than one year, example of that is Del.icio.us that is bought by Yahoo, rumors says they paid 30 million dollars for it.
AJAX
Well AJAX is something concerns client side and server side, it's main objective is to send a call to a server and get the result back without refreshing the page, I don't know how to implement that but I know how to use it in it's right place.
But if you are speaking about the client side AJAX that is technically not AJAX but it's only Java Script, I use it a lot and I know how to implement it, it's very helpful for enhancing user experience through simply hiding and showing Div's, I used JS in. Kanz.
microformats
microformats are what you can call it extensions to markup to give even more meaning to markup, example of those microformats are the hCard microformat that I use it in my about page. to know more how it is implemented try entering my about page URl in Technorati Contacts Feed Services.
I'm also familiar with XFN microformat, I even developed a technique for showing it.
CMS's
Familiar with templating systems like Blogger, WorldPress & Movable Type.
Branding
I believe I have a great background about branding starting from naming through choosing domain name to the logo and color scheme. I think I'm a great designer but I like simple designs over complicated ones, here are some logos I've designed over the years.
Others
Well I'm familiar with lots of technologies I don't think I mentioned all of them here but some of the other technologies I'm familiar with are RSS and know how to validate it, SEO, Zoom layouts, Liquid layouts, S5 slides & Print CSS try printing any of point pages or this page and see the result.
I believe I have strong project management skills too, I also aware of branding and marketing concepts.
Standards based projects

Amin for his great efforts on AJAXing the whole thing letting it more pleasure and easy to use.

FRESH PX
As you know the number of blogs around the web are exploding there are over 20 million or maybe 50 million blogs out there and its increasing dramatically.
As you know also a blog is an affordable way for individuals to share there ideas and opinions, It is free while using blogger or WP and cheap while using MT etc...
But the missing side is DESIGN. Every blogger like to have a different look to his blog that reflects his personality also in an affordable way. If we are speaking about blogger it already have 30 fantastic designs, but aren't 30 designs very few for this huge number of blogs I mean if you choose one of them your blog look will not be that different.
So we came up with the idea to create a blog templates store with low prices maybe 5$ or 10$ per template. FRESH PX is a mid point between web designers and millions of bloggers.
Take a look on the Test home page or the test DCP.
